Become a Member of the MRC

Formal participation in the Montessori Research Collective involves a few virtual meetings throughout the year and an annual in-person retreat. We encourage MRC members to share their ongoing work and actively contribute to collaborative MRC projects. While engagement levels may vary, we strongly emphasize active participation in collective initiatives. Additionally, all MRC members are asked to complete an annual self-evaluation of their involvement with the collective.

New members may join through nomination by a current MRC member or by completing the application at the link below.

Basic Criteria for Membership include:
– Demonstrated interest in Montessori-related research, inquiry, or scholarship.

– A clearly articulated research agenda relevant to Montessori education, including emerging, ongoing, or planned scholarly work.
– Demonstrated capacity for independent or collaborative research, including methodological training, research skills, or a documented professional research role.
